It is reported that Liming Scenic Area of Lijiang Mount Laojun is located in Liming Township, Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Lijiang City, as the largest Danxia landform in China with a distribution area of about 240 km2. It is a landform of red cliffs, lone peaks, deep valleys, etc. formed by the red glutenite stratum fractured, eroded, and weathered during intense geological movements. In the scenic area are plateau Danxia Via Ferrata experience facilities with two routes set by different difficulties. The facilities have remained popular among tourists since its completion in 2013. The project is a challenging outdoor adventure in the scenic area.
