Recently, at the Provincial Expert Review Meeting on the Quality of Attractions Applying for National 5A-level Tourist Scenic Areas organized by Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Liming Scenic Area of Mount Laojun and Lugu Lake Scenic Area in Lijiang were included in the tentative list of creating National 5A-level Tourist Scenic Areas.

  

 

(Liming Scenic Area of Mount Laojun)

By the process for applying for creating National 5A-level Tourist Scenic Areas, Yunnan Provincial Tourist Scenic Area Quality Rating Committee conducted provincial-level expert review over the applying scenic areas in the Province. Through the review, Liming Scenic Area of Mount Laojun and Lugu Lake Scenic Area in Lijiang both have met the basic requirements for applying for the creation of 5A-level Tourist Scenic areas and attractions. The Committee agreed to include them in the tentative list for creating 5A-level Tourist Scenic Areas.

  

 

(Lugu Lake Scenic Area)

It is reported that the Liming Scenic Area of Mount Laojun, as the west wing of Lijiang tourism with “one body and two wings”, is a key project of Lijiang tourism transformation and upgrading. With the care and support of the provincial and municipal governments and the Overseas Chinese Town Expo Tourism Group, after nearly 10 years of development and construction, the scenic area has been primarily built into a comprehensive tourist destination covering "food, lodging, travel, shopping, and entertainment". The comprehensive start of national 5A-level tourist scenic area creation is the initiative of Liming Scenic Area of Mount Laojun to actively integrate into a Great Western Yunnan Tourism Circle construction of Yunnan.

Lugu Lake Scenic Area, as a national 4A-level tourist area, a provincial nature reserve, and a provincial tourist area, consists of two parts: lake area and the Yongningba area. It has won Top Ten Best Ecological Cultural Tourism Scenic Areas in China, Top Ten Most Beautiful Lakes in China, Top Ten Well-known Ecological Lakes in China, Best Leisure Travel Destination, My Favorite Tourist Areas in Yunnan, and other honors. Notice on the Provincial Landscape Quality Rating Results of Applying for National 5A-level Tourist Scenic Areas

Lijiang Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism:

According to the National 5A-level Tourist Scenic Area Application Creation Procedure, on January 17, 2020, the Yunnan Provincial Tourist Scenic Area Quality Rating Committee organized the Provincial Expert Review Meeting on the Quality of Attractions Applying for National 5A-level Tourist Scenic Areas at the site of Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and conducted provincial expert review on your application for creating National 5A-level Tourist Scenic Areas for Liming Scenic Area of Mount Laojun in Lijiang and Lugu Lake Scenic Area in Ninglang.

Upon the summary of the on-site scoring results give by experts, the Lugu Lake Scenic Area in Ninglang, Lijiang and Liming Scenic Area of Mount Laojun, Lijiang obtained 91.17 points, and 90 points respectively according to the Landscape Quality Scoring Rules, both meeting the basic quality requirements on applying to create 5A-level Tourist Scenic Areas. Through this provincial expert review, the Committee agreed to include them into the tentative list for creating 5A-level Tourist Scenic Areas. The Lijiang Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism shall guide the scenic areas to formulate work plan and planning assignment and file them with the Provincial Judge A before March 20. The scenic areas shall take the responsibility of creator and steadily carry out the creation work in accordance with the work plan and planning assignment.

Expert review feedback

According to the recommendation and application of Lijiang culture and Tourism Bureau, on January 17, 2020, Yunnan provincial tourism scenic spot quality rating committee organized a provincial expert review meeting to apply for the establishment of national 5A level tourism scenic spot quality. Experts have comprehensively reviewed the report on the landscape quality of Lijiang Laojunshan Liming scenic spot and Ninglang Lugu Lake scenic spot for the establishment of national 5A level scenic spot. After the collective review of the expert group, the review opinions and suggestions are as follows.

  

 

1、 Lijiang Laojunshan Liming scenic spot

(1) Video clip of scenic spot

1. The introduction scope of the video film has exceeded the scope of the declared scenic spot. It is suggested to further clarify the scope of application, and the video should be introduced around the core resources of the scenic spot.

2. The video ending with "Geopark" is easy to cause controversy. It is suggested to introduce the "scenic spot" rather than "Geopark".

3. The camera lens of Yunnan golden monkey in the video is too long. It is suggested to simplify the camera lens properly.

4. There is a large rock slide lens in the video, which is easy to cause disputes about geological disasters. It is suggested to delete the lens.

(2) Scenic spot benchmarking statement

1. Report content

(1) The reporting time of benchmarking statement is too short, with 1 minute left. It is suggested to further summarize the reporting words, highlight the landscape quality characteristics, and control the reporting time within 4 minutes and 30 seconds.

(2) The PPT report film lacks the content of tourist evaluation. It is suggested to increase the content of tourist praise to highlight the satisfaction of the scenic spot.

(3) The overall content of PPT is not refined enough to reflect the overall landscape quality value of the scenic spot. Suggestions: carefully sort out and sum up the characteristic resources of the scenic spot, supplement each other with the content of the statement of the scenic spot benchmarking and the content of the video clip, introduce the benchmarking according to the detailed rules of the landscape quality evaluation, and pay close attention to the characteristics of the scenic spot of "Sanjiang parallel flow" and "World Heritage".

(4) The social benefits of the scenic spot are not reflected in the PPT. It is suggested to appropriately increase the role of scenic spots in promoting local economic and social development, especially in helping poverty alleviation.

2. reporting people

(1) The reporter's language organization is not refined enough and attractive enough. Suggestion: reorganize the reporting words, refine the language, release the whole process, and report smoothly.

(2) The promotion content of the Municipal Bureau of culture and tourism did not highlight the highlights of the scenic spot. Suggestion: the recommended time is about three minutes, and the recommended content is mainly the landscape quality and value of the scenic spot.

  

 

(3) Landscape quality report text

1. The text does not highlight the special geographical value of the alpine Danxia Landform in the scenic spot. It is suggested that the text should highlight the differences between the scenic spot and other similar geological scenic spots, and highlight the three-dimensional and diversity of its biological landscape.

2. The number of tourists in the text does not match the tourism income. It is suggested that the data content in the text should be checked carefully to ensure the accuracy.

  

 

2、 Lugu Lake scenic area, Ninglang, Lijiang

(1) Video clip of scenic spot

1. The sequence of video introduction is improper, which is inconsistent with the sequence of landscape quality evaluation. It is suggested that the video content should be arranged according to the order of landscape quality evaluation of tourist attractions, first introduce the attraction of resources, and then introduce the content of market influence.

2. There are a little more religious and cultural scenes in the video, so it is suggested to delete them appropriately to avoid religious sensitive scenes as much as possible.

3. The part of the video that introduces the natural scenery lacks aesthetic feeling, and there are few shots that reflect the national culture. It is suggested that the video structure should be readjusted to highlight not only the natural scenery, but also the unique Mosuo culture.

(2) Scenic spot benchmarking statement

1. Report content

(1) The PPT report lacks the distribution of ethnic villages around Lugu Lake and does not reflect its humanistic value. It is suggested to increase the distribution map of ethnic villages, reflect the value of Mosuo culture (ethnic culture), and express the idea of harmonious coexistence of human and lake.

(2) In the absence of the introduction of the most scenic spot resources, it is suggested to increase the distribution map of scenic spots and further refine and mine the internal tourism resources of scenic spots.

(3) The social benefits of the scenic spot are not reflected in the PPT. It is suggested to appropriately increase the role of scenic spots in promoting local economic and social development, especially in helping poverty alleviation.

2. reporting people

(1) The reporter's language organization is not refined enough and attractive enough. Suggestion: choose more representative Mosuo women as introducers, dressed in national costumes, with refined language, full off draft and smooth reporting.

(2) The introduction content of the Municipal Bureau of culture and tourism takes too long to show the landscape value. Suggestion: the recommended time is about three minutes, and the recommended content is mainly the landscape quality and value of the scenic spot.

(3) Landscape quality report text

1. The introduction of the characters in the text is too much, too cumbersome, and the connection with the landscape quality of the scenic spot is not high, for example, the introduction of Li lincan on page 14 of the text is slightly inappropriate. It is suggested that the local Mosuo people in Lugu Lake should be the main introduction to the characters in the text.

2. The relationship between man and lake is not fully explained in the text. It is suggested that the influence of "Lake" on "human" should be further elaborated in the text. The human characteristics of "nature" and "human" are interdependent, interactive, symbiotic and common prosperity.
