Geographical Location

Mount Laojun is located in the west of Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, between 26°38′ - 27°15′ N and 99°7′ - 100° 00′ E. It faces Shangri-La County, Diqing Prefecture across Jinsha River to the east, borders on Weixi County of Diqing Prefecture and Lanping County of Nujiang Prefecture to the northwest and southwest respectively, and neighbors with Jianchuan of Dali Prefecture to the south.
